He rapidly progressed to become a general Financial Planning Consultant and worked for Hogg Robinson for 13 years by the end of which Dominic reached branch director level. He left to create a specialist Financial Planning Department within a firm of Chartered Accountants named Oury Clark where he worked until he was headhunted to join Wentworth Rose as an Executive Manager. During his time at Wentworth Rose he built a team of Wealth Management Consultants and only left after being headhunted again by the Jelf Group to strengthen their Corporate Services Team. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with individual and corporate clients at all levels and is proud to offer the same high standards to everything he attempts. Dominic believes in the importance of the adviser client relationship, individual or corporate and the trust and understanding that is built when dealing with long term relationships. Dominic joined the LEBC Group in September 2009 and works from our Specialisation Retirement, Tax and Inheritance Planning Mark Weber
Experience Mark started his career at Zurich Assurance and gained a basic understanding of how a life company operate. After speaking to Independent Financial Advisers on a daily basis, Mark soon realised what career path he would prefer to follow and started to take the necessary exams to become an IFA. With the basic qualifications obtained, Mark took a job at a firm of Chartered Accounts, in a team being set up by Dominic Davey (see above). Without any real experience Mark decided to continue building his knowledge with more exams whilst working as a paraplanner for Dominic, before quickly progressing to a Trainee consultant role and dealing with clients directly. When Dominic left to pursue his career elsewhere, he saw the potential in Mark and decided to offer him a full consultant role in new his team at Wentworth Rose. During 6 years at Wentworth Rose, Mark generally concentrated on working with individual clients with income production and inheritance tax planning a common theme. Mark believes in a personal approach to advice and is in regular contact with his clients to ensure that today's needs are met and tomorrow's objectives are planned for. In May 2008, Mark was headhunted by a small, specialist taxation company which concentrated on advising young, high flying retail bankers in central London. It was not long before Mark realised that this was not the type of work he wanted to be involved in, and in December 2010 joined LEBC Group - once again linking up with Dominic and retaining his core clients. With a young family behind him, Mark is aware of the need to make plans for the future, catering for certain objectives but with the need for flexibility and hard work in the meantime.
